Maharashtra Skill Development Program (MSDP): Case Study on ToT
Trainers responsible for MSDP training delivery are certified per ASCI norms following a rigorous ToT programme and assessment. Based on the geographical spread and crop focus, it was estimated that around 100 trainers would be required to cater to 334 circles across Maharashtra. These trainers have undergone ToT before being on-boarded in the project.
The total trainer requirement for the mass skilling programme was planned as per the locations. The sites were mapped and clustered as per geographical spread and crop focus to arrive at the optimal load factor of trainers for the programme. It was estimated that around 100 trainers would be required to cater to 334 circles.
